MAVERICK
Hired as a contracted Lead Product Designer, I was brought on to build the Maverick aviation app entirely from the ground up. I architected this mission-critical iPad application, and its comprehensive visual identity, from a blank canvas. My focus was on translating dense, real-time flight operations into an intuitive, high-precision interface tailored specifically for the demanding workflows of pilots.

PROBLEM
Maverick was starting with a blank slate and needed a foundational, cutting-edge iPad application capable of simplifying complex aviation operations. Because pilots process vast amounts of data under high cognitive load, the challenge was to establish a reliable, real-time tool without any pre-existing framework to build upon.
SOLUTION
Leading a true 0-to-1 product build, I developed a domain-specific user interface and a robust design system that prioritized extreme clarity, rapid decision-making, and error prevention. Alongside the structural UX, I crafted a modern, technical brand identity from the ground up to visually reinforce the precision required in aviation.
